Our Focus

Bunrootis’ focus has been on the industrial sector through it’s involvement in projects across the development arc. Our firm has a demonstrated history of acquiring, developing / redeveloping and managing industrial assets primarily in the Southeast and Central US.

We have worked as an advisor and consultant to investment entities acquiring assets and managing industrial assets for our own portfolio and as a third party manager.

Environment

In addition to our work in the industrial sector, Bunrootis has developed and managed six mitigation banks in West Virginia and Virginia – overseeing the the construction of approximately ten miles of streams and 100 acres of wetlands. This work has created an understanding of the nuances required to work with the US Army Corps of Engineers and state agencies on permitting issues.

David Gibbons

Principal

David has been working in commercial real estate for over forty years, including his role as a founder and manager of Bunrootis LLC. Prior to that time, Mr. Gibbons was a member of American Corporate Real Estate, a real estate fund acquired by Starwood Financial, TAG Realty Partners, a Dallas based advisory and brokerage firm and Acadia Capital Group, an advisory and investment firm. Mr. Gibbons is a graduate of Tulane University and has his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is married to Mary Lou Gibbons with three grown children, all working in commercial real estate.
